Affiliate Disclosure
Herefordshire Finds is reader-supported. Here's exactly how that works.
Honest recommendations, always
I only ever recommend places, products and experiences I genuinely love or have personally experienced. My editorial opinions are never for sale — but some of the links on this site do earn me a small commission if you book or buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This is how I'm able to keep writing and keep the site free to read.
Current programmes
Where affiliate links appear
Booking.com Partner Programme
Links to hotels and stays on the Hotels & Stays page may be affiliate links through the Booking.com Partner Programme. If you book accommodation through one of these links, I earn a small commission. The price you pay is identical to booking directly.
OpenTable Affiliate Programme
Some restaurant reservation links on the Food & Drink page are affiliate links through OpenTable. If you make a reservation through one of these links, I may earn a small commission.
Amazon Associates
Links to books, travel gear and products mentioned in blog posts may be Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay.
Bookshop.org
Where possible I link to Bookshop.org as an alternative to Amazon for book recommendations. Bookshop.org supports independent bookshops, and I earn a small commission on purchases made through my links.
Editorial standards
What I will never compromise on
I never accept payment for positive reviews
No hotel, restaurant or brand can pay to appear on this site. Every recommendation is based solely on my own experience and honest opinion.
Affiliate links are always clearly marked
Pages containing affiliate links carry a disclosure notice at the top. Individual links open in a new tab and are marked with a rel="sponsored" attribute.
I only join programmes for things I already recommend
I don't seek out affiliate programmes and then find things to recommend. I recommend things I love, and then look for an affiliate programme if one exists.
Your trust matters more than any commission
If I ever feel that an affiliate relationship is compromising my editorial independence, I will end it. The integrity of this site is not negotiable.
Legal & regulatory
This site complies with the UK's Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the CAP Code on affiliate marketing. All material connections between Herefordshire Finds and any brand, hotel or retailer are disclosed clearly. If you have any questions about how this site is funded, please get in touch.
